Israel: surrounded but defiant
On June 5, 1967, Israel was surrounded by enemies on all sides. Syria, Egypt and Jordan had launched a full scale war on Israel. Israel was all alone with no world aid forthcoming. The very future of this tiny but proud nation hung in balance. It was all alone and it was a real possibility that the entire nation of Israel might be decimated.
We all know what happened. Israel emerged victorious against all odds.
Galwan: India and China
Galwan valley escalation doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon. Claims and counter claims are flying with little way of verifying either India’s or China’s claims.
While it is easy to dismiss Galwan as a one off transgression by China, it has been many years in the making. Nibbling away at Indian territory through dubious means, India has already (probably) lost a lot of territory to China through a variety of reasons.
India, China, Pakistan and Nepal
It is easy today to get carried away due to the fact that Indian army is definitely superior to PLA both in capability and in numbers. PLA has ~1 million soldiers and India as 1.3. But when one adds Pakistan’s numbers to the mix, it then becomes 1.6 million for PLA and Pakistan. Add to the mix that what Nepal is claiming, there are additional 0.1 million soldiers.
But more dauntingly, it is the spectre of a 3 front war that may stretch Indian army far too much.
While the world has in general supported India, it remains to be seen if they would want to get involved in an active war.
Galwan and India: All on their own
For those who think world comes to aid, talk to Tibet, Georgia and Hong Kong.
I, for one, think Galwan was a very well planned manoeuvre and this is unlikely to end here. It has been many years in the making and China in all likelihood will take full advantage of this situation.
But for India’s sake, I hope Galwan proves to be India’s Israel moment.
In israeli situation all Arabs are not have professional army and US support Israel. But in this situation China is a world power 💪 . A battle between lion and goat.

Chinese r powerful on paper . If Porkis join them India will destroy them to such an extent thay they will not rise for another 50 years. CPEC will b a matter of hostory. Even if India concedes defeat it will rise within no time .

The US is milking India by selling expensive military hardware and getting access to the Indian Ocean and getting control of the Indian market, while the Chinese have milked the Pakistani economy through the CPEC. As per milletry experts China would need 10 times the number of Indian Soldiers due to topography and India being in control of huge majority of heights along LAC.
We must remember in case of a war in Hilly terrain Guns counts most as a potent weapon. India has huge advantage in that area.
Our Army has successfully used Guns in Kargil War in similar terrain. With Attack & Transport helicopters and heavy lift aircrafts India can mobilise Army swiftly.
Road & ground infrastructure is also far better now and being improved with each passing day.
It will not be a surprise if China looses control of Aksai Chin if war happens.
These reasons forced China to retreat.
Off-course China can't be trusted but today Indian leadership is different.
India will not lower the Guard even if disengagement happens for now.

It's pity to note that the India is preparing for battle when the enemy is overhead and occupied large chunk of Indian territory. I feel shame. Why the demand of 42 squadrons of The Air Force is not being met with. If a small country like Israel can have latest weapons of all the three wings of the defence forces, then why not a very big country like India cannot. What the Indian leadership doing? I hereby suggest the Government that a cut of 5 per cent be imposed on the allocation oy all the departments and that money be transferred to the Defence Forces. It's must,must & must.

Ask Congis why they kept the nation defenseless over so many years. You cannot demand bombers overnight. The order for Rafale was placed in 2015 and it takes time to manufacture. Even here, Pappu Khan delayed the delivery by 9 months raising objections.

That is why India won 1965 war with Pakistan and git the Pakis on knee in 1971 breaking them into two and securing the biggest surrender of 93000 Paki soldiers in a mere a matter of 13 days! Yes in a limited war at Chola and Nathula India defeated, China in a four day war! India also captured Turtuk -800 sqkm in Kargil in 1971 and captured 1000sqkm of Siachen in 1984 all by the Congis! The BJP leadership lost Kargil in 1999 (which has to be recovered at loss of 350+ spldiers and now some areas in Galwan fingers and Depsang plains in Ladakh. Both the times it is a great leadership indeed!

The Galwan incursions point to huge intelligence failure or, if there were indeed such inputs, failure of the political leadership to ask the Army to push the enemy back with limited border warfare. Now, India has to hold on and must not disengage from that area.
